SPENT GRAIN BREADMAKING
Grainbakers is a pop-up breadmaking school taught at breweries.
Grainbakers offers spent grain bread-making classes at your favorite brewery. Our classes are for everyone from the bread-making enthusiast to the rookie baker and are loved by beer geeks and home brewers. At the end of the brewer’s day, we will use fresh, spent grain and work it into a stunning boule of bread. Our classes are fun as a solo outing, a girl's night out, a first date, a staff teambuilder and a great introduction to a brewery you've not visited before.
This Spring we have classes in the East Bay, Boston, San Diego, San Marcos and Visa California Areas. Our classes are wild, whacky and always sell out.
Grainbakers is a mobile breadmaking school offering classes in beer-centric cities all over the United States. In 2024, we visited more than 37 breweries, made more than 3500 breads with guests and traveled over 40,000 miles!

When you arrive at the brewery, please check in, grab a beer, and relax with friends. Class begins with a lesson, tour and then it’s time for grain, water, yeast & salt. Make artisan bread and great memories with friends.
