Thank you for the beautiful birthday wishes. Near or far, I'm incredibly blessed with cousins and great friends - especially beer friends. Grainbakers will be taking me all over the country this year. I'm teaching a spent grain version of Scooter's Irish Soda Bread with a Bailey's cream drizzle tonight. I'll be back in Boston when the snow melts. Jeff and I just had a magical beer, art, comedy, tacos and bonsai trip to LA last weekend. The boys are thriving. The cherry tree is in bloom.

Jeff calculated that our #sandiego tour is 1.3M calories of Caramel barley malt pretzels. 😆🙈 5 breweries over 10 classes. 1,600 miles. 20k laughs. 2M smiles. #craftbeer can beat big beer if they offer quality, KINDNESS and relevant programming. Missing Brandon Hernández who has the same laser focus as me. #lifeofashowgirl @sdbeernews
