Yields: About 2 cups Prep time: 5 minCook time: 10 min
🥣 Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 ¼ cups heavy cream
¾ cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
4 tbsp Grainbakers Cajun Spice (from your honey-crystal & Cajun blend)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, for that nice tangy backbone)
1 tsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar (for brightness)
Salt to taste
Optional: pinch of extra smoked paprika or cayenne if you want it fiery
🔥 Directions
Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it brown).
Stir in the Grainbakers Cajun Spice and let it bloom in the butter — it’ll smell amazing.
Whisk in the broth to dissolve and lift all that spice from the pan.
Slowly pour in heavy cream, whisking constantly. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook 5–7 minutes until it thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
Stir in Dijon and lemon juice; taste and adjust salt or spice.
