Grainbakers is bringing fresh pasta making to Altamont Beer Works in Livermore, a spacious taproom with plenty of room for groups. Come early for a flight from their rotating taps before class starts.
Our classes are fun, interactive, and hands-on, with a twist you won't find in a typical cooking class. Our Fresh Pasta Making class teaches you the basics to start your own pasta-making hobby. You'll mix two types of dough and shape two types of pasta, fettuccine and ravioli, using your own pasta machine and an extra-large ravioli stamp and pasta cutter to keep and take home.
While your dough rests, we'll teach you a classic cacio e pepe, a fluffy cheese and pepper sauce. Each participant gets 16 ounces of fresh pasta. We'll boil about half, toss it with sauce and butter, and serve it alongside Grainbakers…
