Learn to make and twist spent grain pretzels, spicy whole-grain beer mustard and hot, cheezy cheddar dipping sauce. Sample them all, and leave with ingredients to make more of these items at home.

About this Grainbakers Class
Two classes will be held on the evening of 10/29 at 5 PM and 7 PM.Â
Each ticket holder will learn the following in class:
- How to make spent grain pretzels
- How to make whole-grain beer mustard
- How to make hot cheddar cheese pub dip for your pretzels
In class, each ticket holder will make spent grain dough for pretzels and practice twisting four pretzels to go home to boil and bake.
Each ticket holder will leave class with the following:
- Recipe and dough for making more pretzels at home
- Specialty mustard ingredients, including mustard flour and seeds, to make more mustard
- Recipe cards for the Pretzels, Hot cheddar cheese pub dip and our Pretzel dipping mustard
VIP / FAQ:
- You will boil and bake your pretzels at home, but a demo will be provided during class. You will make your dough and twist some of your pretzels in class. You will leave with those pretzels in their first rise and, depending on your schedule, continue your project at home or later over the weekend.
This class will be on your feet. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes. You will need non-slip footwear in the brewery. Sandals and flip-flops are not allowed.
